Program – Second Day
09,00 – 11,00
• Work-shop
11,00 – 11,30 Coffee break
11,30 – 13,00
• Work-shop
13,00 – 14,00 Lunch break
14,00 – 16,00
• Video of surgical procedures performed in anterior and posterior teeth using the Surgical Operating Microscope
16,00 – 16,30 Coffee break
16,30 -18,00
• Video of surgical procedures performed in anterior and posterior teeth using the Surgical Operating Microscope
For the work-shop the participants will practice on natural teeth mounted on special anatomically designed models. The natural teeth will have the root canal treated; the models will have a rubber gengiva to make the incision and then the suture.; the root apex will be surrounded by a “rubber lesion” to simulate a granuloma. The participants will be able to perform a complete surgical procedure, from incision to the suture, working with the operating microscope.
Material and instruments available for each participant:
– Microscope
– Ultrasonic unit
– Ultrasonic tips
– Micro surgical instruments
– Root-end filling material
– Suture
